Busy Times at Shoreline Quilts

The next couple of weeks promise to be even busier than normal for Shoreline Quilts. Next Saturday, April 25th marks the first Anniversary. There will be in store specials and some refreshments so do drop by between 10 and 5:30 if you are in Port Elgin.
The following week Elaine will be taking her show on the road. She has a booth at the Bluewater Quilter's Guild show at the Bayshore Arena in Owen Sound. The show runs Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd.
In the photo is a new choice for a Beginners quilt class. All straight sewing. You learn basic cutting, straight line sewing (the all important 1/4" seam) and how to read simple quilt pattern directions. In the follow up to Beginners class offered April 29th from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Port Elgin library the basics for assembling your finished quilt will be reviewed. How to sandwich your quilt, how to cut, make and attach binding and what to include on a label. Talk to Elaine to have your name added to the class list.
We love to hear from our customers so please feel free to stop by or add a comment here or on our Facebook page.
Until next time, Elaine and the group
