It was a busy Saturday at Shoreline Quilts. Elaine (the owner in the red vest) had a lot of cutting to do for this customer. Ann was job shadowing and will start working with us soon and Joanne was quilting a sample for a store display and then helping some customers.
We are constantly getting in new fabrics. Our batik row is looking particularly wonderful right now. Several beginner classes have been held and we have a finish up your beginner class scheduled towards the end of April. We also are offering a quilt class for the Gundrun Erla pattern Strip Cocoon. The pattern is strip friendly but can also be made using fat quarters.
Our first anniversary is coming up in April watch our Facebook page or this blog for more details as they become available. Joanne

Welcome to Shoreline Quilts
Shoreline Quilts opened in April 2014 in the small town of Port Elgin on the Lake Huron shoreline. We carry many lines of fabric and a great variety of notions. The small hanging pictured in today's post is a Snap Sack kit. These small kits offer a great introduction to a technique. When finished they will make a wall hanging, a doll quilt or a table topper. Or for that matter the centre of a larger quilt if you keep adding borders. Elaine and staff
